SAP Procedures Training

The Business Problem
Yahoo! launched a campaign to refine its internal procurement policies and processes and make them easier to understand. As part of the effort, they wanted to develop training for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system that would take the confusion out of the process and point users to the right information. The goal was to create effective training to reduce the number of calls and questions the procurement team received.

The TechProse Solution
To ensure the new e-learning would serve the target audience, TechProse first conducted an analysis of training needs.

Using focus groups, TechProse learned how critical this training was for employees. Many were not confident that they understood the overall process and the tools used to generate requisitions, purchase requests, and other procurement-related activities.

Following the analysis, TechProse designed and delivered a series of e-learning modules for P2P users that guided them through the process of paying for products and services and taught them how to be "Smarter Spenders." Module topics included working with a preferred vendor, creating and using purchase orders, and booking travel arrangements.

The course became a required first step for access to Yahoo!'s procurement tools. Following the success of this course, TechProse expanded its e-learning services to Yahoo! Europe.
