The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) had experienced an unusual number of disruptions of service at their data center that had state-wide impact. These events indicated potential fragilities within the technology center. CPUC Deputy Executive Director and the CPUC CIO engaged TechProse to conduct a review of the Information Services Branch (ISB).

Landor had begun the process of replacing its existing accounting software package, selecting Oracle Financials and an outside consulting firm, with the intention of rolling out the new application to its offices across the US and internationally. However, deficiencies with the initial implementation became apparent, making month-end financial closes impossible. Landor asked TechProse to help get the implementation back on track.
