Cisco is the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet. Cisco hardware, software, and service offerings are used to create Internet solutions that allow individuals, companies, and countries to increase productivity, improve customer satisfaction, and strengthen competitive advantage. The Cisco name has become synonymous with the Internet, as well as with the productivity improvements that Internet business solutions provide.

The Business Problem
The director of Entitlement at Cisco needed to explain the complex set of services it provides. Partners, executive stakeholders, and internal customer service staff all need this information to support and enhance the Cisco user experience.

The TechProse Solution
A TechProse Senior Executive Communications Analyst developed a comprehensive strategic communications plan.  As part of execution of this plan, TechProse developed an overview of the group and its services and activities, called Entitlement 101.  Published on the Cisco Internet, this document clearly explained Cisco’s Entitlement options, and clarified its corporate role.  The Analyst designed and published a regular online newsletter with a tag line “You’re Entitled to Know,” that summarized a key message.  To assist filed service personnel, TechProse also provided Performance Metrics for the group.
