Clients hire TechProse project managers to successfully manage entire projects from end to end, or to take over specific portions of larger efforts. Our Project Managers are seasoned and experienced in our core competencies (learning, documentation, change management, and communications), specific industries, disciplines, and applications. Many are credentialed as Project Management Professionals (PMP) by the Project Management Institute. The PMP credential recognizes demonstrated knowledge and skill in leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of schedule, budget, and resources.
The Kaboodle
We embark on every project with a set of guidelines that provide a roadmap to success. This roadmap, known as "The Kaboodle," ensures each engagement follows established and tested processes, procedures, and expert practices.
The Kaboodle is based on 26 years of experience in real-life project management, and contains tools, templates, and best practices for project managers to use throughout the project lifecycle. We designed the Kaboodle around the belief that teams work better and more efficiently when they have consistent tools that support their success. The Kaboodle allows each Project Manager to consider each project's unique characteristics and weave his or her own expertise and understanding into the process.
Methodology
Our blend of experience and expert practice methods provides our clients with efficient, value-based solutions and sustainable results.
TechProse recognizes that there are many effective project management approaches, such as PMBOK, SDLC, CMM, and CPM to name a few. While TechProse has its own Project Management Approach and toolset, our project manager consultants align their project approach to our clients' existing methodologies.
Project Management Education and Training Products
In addition to managing projects, TechProse employs PMP-credentialed consultants to deliver courses on a variety of Project Management topics including:
- Basic Project Management
- Risk Management
- Cost/Budget Control
- Project Communications
- Scheduling
- Microsoft Project application training
During these courses, our trainers create an environment that promotes interaction and learning through hands-on activities. Trainers use participants' real projects for practice exercises and are available to mentor PMPs after the course is complete. Training can be delivered in a face-to-face classroom setting, through a webinar (live, online Instructor-led session) or using a blend of these two methods.
