The Business Problem
As part of its global ERP implementation (SAP R/5) Amgen needed to document a wide variety of global processes. This required a background in specific areas of the enterprise, as well as expertise in working within a federally-regulated environment.

The TechProse Solution
TechProse provided a team with specific expertise in developing standard operating procedures in a GMP environment.  Team leads also had experience with particular enterprise areas (warehouse, plan-to stock, order-to-cash, etc.) to facilitate design and documentation of procedures for particular business units.  Work includes Business Process Analysis and Redesign as well as writing expertise.  The initial phase of the project, completed in December 2006 on time and under budget, was to develop Global Controlled Documents for the European implementation.
